09 Aug Adjustment and test operation of sprayers
The setting up of the sprayers to be used by the Operational Group for the implementation of the project was carried out. At the same time, the test operation of the sprayers was carried out to confirm the dose that will be applied during the implementation of the project. For this purpose, a quantity of 80 ml of spray solution was measured and used and sprayed on the trees to adjust the spray dose.
The aim of the project is to effectively control the pest population by applying bait sprays by adjusting the amount of solution sprayed, reducing the observed losses and recording the progress of the sprayers.
At the same time, the colour assessment (through the use of kaolin) of the sprayed leaf surface of the small volume (80ml) of bait spray to be applied in olive groves of the cooperative was carried out.
